Barclaycard- 15 months at 0%

I'm looking for a new card and barclaycard seemed to be the best around for me but found this: Quote:
for example, you must earn more than £20,000 p.a. and have a good credit rating to qualify. And - excluding your mortgage - debts on credit cards and/or store cards must be less than 10% of your income.
Ok can just swing the 20k but what stoozer has less than 2k in the stooze pot?  Is it a hard and fast rule re the 10% of income?

Almost sounds like they're trying to compete with Cap One in defining an "excellent" credit history is.

Strange definition of it and definitely not stoozer friendly. I'm guessing they don't look at "net credit card balances" and just crunch the CRA numbers at application - though definite grounds for an appeal Smiley

Would be useful if every card spelled out exactly what their acceptance criteria was in minute detail Smiley
