Stoozing Quick Start Guide
Stoozing is a way of making money using 0% introductory offers on credit cards. The borrowed money is moved into a savings account where it earns interest. At the end of the 0% offer period, the credit card is paid off and the stoozer retains the interest as stoozing profit.
To make stoozing as simple as possible, we have developed this easy-to-follow Quickstart Guide which takes you through the following steps.
- Choose a savings account that earns good interest on your 'free' credit card money

Choose a Savings Account
To stooz you need a savings account with a good interest rate (a high AER). It should also provide penalty-free instant access to your money and you should be able to manage the account online or by phone (preferably 24x7). The best Savings Accounts to store your 'Stooz Pot' are shown below in our unbiased table.

Choose Your Stoozing Approach
- Quick-and-easy Fast Stoozing. As its name suggests, this is the quickest way to start racking up stoozing profit and is easy to do.
- Slow Stoozing (also known as "Simply Spend") is straightforward and natural because it is based on credit card spending, but the stoozing profit does come more slowly.
Quick-and-easy Fast Stoozing
Many credit card issuers offer 0% on Balance Transfers for between 6 and 15 months. This allows you to move debt from your existing card to a new card, without interest being charged. They do this by paying off your old credit card for you, so that you owe them the money rather than your existing lender.
That's great, but the stoozer needs to get the money into a bank account rather than another credit card. The good news is that there are a few credit cards on the market that let you pay money directly into a bank account too! We call these cards Super Balance Transfer (SBT) cards and these are the ones you need for Quick-and-Easy Fast Stoozing.
Choose your card from our unbiased list of top SBT cards below. The best cards are at the top because of their low monthly payments or low fees.
Before making your credit card application, use our Fast Stoozing Calculator to work out how profitable it will be for you. In particular, make sure that you account for the Balance Transfer fee that the card issuer charges (see the table). The calculator takes these into account when working out the profitability. If you are happy with the profit, you can apply for the card from the table above.
Once you have transferred the money into your bank account, don't forget that you still need to make the minimum monthly payments on time. The best way to do this is to set up a direct debit. If you miss a payment or make a late payment, you will lose the 0% offer!
Once you have tried Quick and easy Fast Stoozing, you are ready to take a look at Advanced Fast Stoozing, which is even more profitable but more complex. Read our Full Stoozing Guide for more information.
Slow Stoozing (or "Simply Spend" Stoozing)
To slow stooz you need to use a card that offers a 0% rate on Purchases. Use this card for all your normal spending and gradually build up the balance on the card. When you get your monthly statement, only make the minimum monthly payment and keep the remaining money (that you would have used to pay it off in full) in your bank account or high rate savings account.
Warning! Don't be tempted to spend more than you would normally do - that would end up costing you money. You must also ensure that you never exceed your credit limit.
Choose your slow stoozing card from the '0% on Purchases' table below, then use our Slow Stoozing Calculator to work out how profitable it will be for you. You can then apply for the card directly from the table.
