This months newsletter we announce this years STOTY awards and update you on the latest Credit Card News
As the year draws to the end we would like you to tell us who you have felt has been a shining light in our free Forum. Site News
Our site continues to receive lots of little tweaks. You will now find the Stoozing Calculator produces a month by month break down, and the results can be formatted for your favourite forums. We have also altered the calculations to better cater for how fees are charged, giving you a more accurate result.
Card News
Meanwhile in the credit card world, it comes as no surprise to find the large drops in the Base Rate have caused some wild and wonderful alterations to the offers available from the credit card market. The biggest news being the way the card companies share data. No longer just for security, they now share information that can decide if a customer is profitable. Not great news for stoozers.
make sure you keep up to date on the current card offers with our regularly updates card tables. These tables are useful for anyone that is looking for a credit card, so please forward this link to your friends.
Virgin Money continue to be the longest 0% deal around at 16 months.
Capital One have shaken up their products once more, pulling out of the 0% race to concentrate on a 5.5% Long low rate deal
If you missed the news, Citibank have withdrawn the stoozers favourite Egg Money Card, but the Egg Visa still offers the same SBT facility. Meanwhile they have removed the fee for LOB transfers on the AAdvantage card.
Finally, Halifax have increased their BT fee to 3.5%. Either this will start a trend, or trigger an investigation by the regulators about unfair charges! Please cross your fingers.
