Marcus are dropping their easy access interest rate again on 12 October 2020.

It will be reduced from 1.05% to 0.70%.

This account hasn't been available to new customers for some time now. They only offer a 1 year fixed rate saver account instead, which currently pays 0.50%.

Their new Spend & Save account looks a little tempting for the introductory cashback (£5 per month for 6 months) but note it says that conversions from "Classic" accounts don't qualify. If that includes Classic Plus too then it'll be necessary to open new account(s) to earn cashback. h...
