Re: Virgin 41 Month Balance Transfer Credit Card

I've just looked on Moneysupermarket, they have a Capital One clear pay card, It's 34.94% apr with 0% tranfer fee for money transfer, so you could possibly do a balance transfer from Virgin to Capital One, then money transfer from Capital One to your current account. It would mean opening a 2nd cred...

Re: Virgin 41 Month Balance Transfer Credit Card

Hi, Have you not considered getting a credit card with a long 0% purchase. Use it instead of, I'm assuming, your debit card. Once it's maxed look to get another, or go back to your debit card. Then you aren't paying any fees. Every time you do a transaction, put the equivalent into your savings, and...

Re: Extra TSB classic accounts

I tried applying for the above account in the past when switching bonus was available, but as I already had 2 accounts I couldn't have a third. You have to apply for the account using the link on MSE website, and it's a direct application for the Plus account, not a normal Classic then upgrade. If y...

Re: Extra TSB classic accounts

I recently opened a new one for GF, using the open normal account first, then upgrading online.
I eventually got my GF to ring them, they asked where she lived, and for how long.

Re: How did you start Stoozing? And how has it evolved?

I started off doing 0% BT for actual credit card debt. I still have a couple of outstanding balances, which I transfer when the time is up. I started making money with a Current account switch to Halifax, but again a genuine one where i transferred my real DD and pay, then I did a transfer to FD aga...

Re: Extra TSB classic accounts

Just received an email from TSB regarding the change in interest rate etc. Also mentioned was this "Another new condition is if you have more than one Classic Plus account in your sole name or more than one Classic Plus account in joint names, we may convert your additional account into an Enha...

Re: Halifax Monthly £6.25 ers

Just got thinking about this again. Before April I paid tax (still do) so got £5. GF doesn't pay tax so got £5, she was able to claim £1.50 Now that we both don't pay tax (she doesn't, I don't use my full £1000 allowance) can we both claim £1.50. For some reason I was under the impression that neith...

Me too, following banks rules to the letter to get the incentive, but then doing it more than once, or not using your real current account.
