decided to chop the 'spare' in, and closed my Nationwide card today too.
down to just five card accounts now, with only ten current accounts!! one of these days i'll have 'normal' financial arrangements ;)

decent shouts i'd have thought.. fwiw i have found HSBC to be cautious with limits over the years, and Lloyds to be variable - they can be persuaded though.

agreed. the take up won't be high.. it's not a good deal for careful shoppers, and it's not a good deal for experienced stoozers looking out for an angle either.

i don't think so Sarah. that money could be spent on a card that would generate cashback/points right from the first £ spent.
