2x Tesco accounts I believe is still the limit. Only 6k in total, but nice in today's situations.

I had a FD, closed it via a switch, then opened, via quidco a FA. I then, lots of months later, opened a new FD. This was via refer a friend and quidco. Both paid out. As it was over 12 months after the first FD closure, I am back at 5% interest, at least currently. Now had the FA for two years for ...

No definitive answer.... having at least one high limit helps, using a low percentage helps, but having unused credit hurts... *shrug*

That 12 month rule seems a little flexible... according to MSE ... not quite sure on the details but worth a read.

I use p2p. Quite a bit. But I have 3-4x the amount in Fscs backed accounts. Whilst I may increase p2p a bit it won't cover finding a home for all the accounts which no longer pay their way. That said, my mortgage works out as the same as 2.3% in a savings account, so whilst the opposite of stoozing ...
