TSB Spend and Save requires debit card to be used 30 times per month for the cashback. Any suggestions on how this could be achieved automatically, rather than have to actually spend time on making 30 x transactions.

You could setup a daily Amazon top-up of £1 if you'd spend £30/month with them anyway. I login to NS&I on 4 occasions near the start of the month and make 8 x £1 deposits into my savings account each time; the website design makes that pretty quick to do, only takes about 10 minutes with Google Chrome auto-fill.

I used to use chip do get debit card transactions on coop account.
Chip have just made their auto save function free again.
When i used it before, they used to make auto saves every 4 days, so that would give you 7 automatic saves, but you can do manual saves, I think from £1, not sure how many of those you can do, but I did see an old competition that would double your manual save, and they limited people to 3 in 24 hrs.
It would be all done through an app on your phone, so less painful than going through a website each time.
