I seem to have missed this one...

I have no interest on my accounts today (may just be late) but prompted me to check and seems it now requires 2 DDs a month. (Prepare for the deluge of post from Tesco)

It's been a few months on those I think. I need to check I still have interest today, I.e. Are all mine correct.

From the title of your post I was concerned about an interest rate drop... sort of expecting one this year.

Yeah, this sucks; £36 interest missing here too. :o

Not aware of receiving any notification of the change from BoS.

I'm very geeky, so i scan all my post in (whack a pile into my printers sheet feeder, scan to jpg, then use a script & OCR to automatically file them) -- anyway looks like I did receive a notification...around June 26th :-(

I found it in a mailing too; covered by the latest drop of T&Cs booklets. It wasn't exactly highlighted, very easy to miss - unlike the Santander 123 changes which have been the subject of separate letters and statement messages. BoS have been pretty sneaky here IMO. Anyone tried complaining?

I have called about all 2 x 3 of my BoS accounts - quickly settled for a £36-38 credit, and of course the DDs are ready for this month!

Just received 16 individual letters from Tesco - and I know that's not all of them (6 Bos Accounts, 2 DDs each, and when you set up the DD on one Tesco account it offers to set it up on the other Tesco accounts (I have 4)... so expecting 24 letters to tell me an account has been linked, and 12 to say a DD has been created = 36 in total @ 50p each?...

Does anyone know if Tesco has a paperless option for their Direct Debit letters?!

I don't know but paperless statements are probably an option; not sure if paperless DD notifications would be allowed (since they're essentially a security feature)?

Have recently opened a couple of Tesco savings accounts and will start the DD setup process tonight. Finally got through to BoS today for my complaint and accepted a £50 offer to settle, which is nice (more than the lost interest) subject to agreement that I won't get a penny more if I don't qualify for October interest, so now need my DDs to go through without a hitch!
