Nectar

Now that Esso have switched from Tesco Clubcard to Nectar points, they've got this offer of 1000 bonus points over your first 3 transactions using their app.

That's not a very large bonus and the minimum spend is 30 litres, so only worth considering if their fuel is already competitively priced without the points.

maybe i'm old-fashioned, but having apps for different retailers doesn't appeal..

so Esso are now offering Nectar points, BP have their own loyalty scheme now, what are Shell doing, has that changed too?

I almost never use Shell; there aren't many around here.

Looks like they recently closed their Drivers Club loyalty scheme:

Seems to me that Nectar have replaced one expensive fuel brand with another expensive fuel brand

i assume it's still possible to collect Nectar points at Sainsbury's petrol stations..

Successfully used this today at Shell. They've renamed "unleaded" to "petrol" on the pumps, which was a bit disconcerting as I hadn't seen that before... but now know to look for the new "E5" logo which has been rolled out nationwide this month:
