Has anyone experience with the £100 for you/£100 for referee Refer A Friend Scheme?
Just thinking out loud - I have the FlexDirect account that I am downgrading to Flex as I have had it a year. I also have another FlexAccount - could I use this second account to upgrade back to FlexDirect and hopefully get referred for the RAF? Or would it be better to wait for an even better cashback deal on Topcashback/Quidco? The current rates are £20/£21 (I know they have gone much higher but given the current market I wonder if that is likely to happen again any time soon ) but I am also thinking the upgrade may mean not having a new credit search, so leaving the way open for another application duringthe same period .
Many thanks

Re: Nationwide £100 RAF
I had a FD, closed it via a switch, then opened, via quidco a FA.
I then, lots of months later, opened a new FD. This was via refer a friend and quidco. Both paid out. As it was over 12 months after the first FD closure, I am back at 5% interest, at least currently. Now had the FA for two years for the free insurance.
