Re: £250 switch...
I had to call them up to start the ball rolling.
They will send me an auth code, I then need to ring up when I have the code, and they will continue the account opening process.
I have my mortgage with them, so might be because of that.
My GF doesn't doing to old 'calling banks', so I doubt I'll be opening one in her name.

what does the last sentence mean DC?
on previous form they are a shambles admin-wise.. it'll be interesting to hear how they get on.
and also whether anyone who has had a switching deal from them in the past can manage to do so again.

Re: £250 switch...
If was supposed to say my GF doesn't do the old "calling banks", in other words, she won't call them, so any switches in her name only get done if I can do it online for her.
I see the offer has been pulled for yorkshire/cltdesdale and "B account", I'm still waiting for something in the post, so I doubt I'll get the offer when I continue the application.
