which isn't great joker.. i'm sticking with trying to cover all 5% or more options available in the market.
FD don't make me welcome unfortunately, but 6% from HSBC and M&S isn't bad. if the former is still available in a months time i will have another slice.. my 5th, i think

i don't thing we will be.. interest rates paid to savers do not necessarily follow base rate, of course.

that's exactly it Sarah. not renewing at 2%. but perhaps they'll bring 5% back.. retaining the c/a for interest on the 2k and £5/m cashback on spending.
i didn't know about Santander, thanks joker. limited to £200/m. don't have a c/a with them nowadays.

i've had several running in the past few months, but some won't be being renewed.. HSBC and M&S both paying, and hopefully can be renewed, at 6%. Nationwide paying, and hopefully can be renewed, at 5%. but Lloyds have dropped from 4% to 3% so will probably not renew. and TSB have dropped from 5%...
